What does Kaak Vandhya Yog mean?

In Astrology, there is a unique yog experienced by couples known as Kaak Vandhya yog (Couples blessed with just one child in their entire life). Through my experiences with several couples, I found that some are blessed with one child and only one in their entire life. What could be the reason? After being blessed with one child, sometimes couples would have to be satisfied with that child in their life. And only child could either mean a girl or a boy. This could be a very sensitive issue especially for those who are blessed with an abnormal child. Sometimes, due to over growing population and growing inflation, couples naturally tend to be satisfied with whatever they are blessed with. According to Astrology, this Yog is called Kaak Vandhya yog. It means that the female partner blesses only child and normally with a great difficulty. Later on there would be no more child. To explain this eloborately, there is a slokha which says
"Suthesho nechego yatra suthastanam lapashyati tatra souri budho statam kaak vandhya twama panuyaat"
which means in the horoscope of the couple the Lord of the fifth house is in the place of sixth, eight, and twelfth house and therefore the female partner will not bear any child. And even if she delivers a child, the child may not survive. To explain this more elaboratively: If in the horoscope of the husband, there is a presence of the Lord of Panchama in the sixth house, and in the lagna if there is a presence of kuja, then the female partner can only bless one child that too with a great difficulty. Sometimes, due to the presence of Lord of the fifth house in the eighth house, the couple will not be blessed with any children and instead they will have to adopt a child. Having said that, let us now actually look into few reasons why some couples go for adopting a child in the other half of this post.

Why couples go for adopting a child?
In order to discuss some of the reasons let us first understand the following slokha "Putrasthane budhashetre mandashetre thava punaha mande yaandiyute drushte tada datta daya stutaha" which means in the horoscope of the couple, with the presence of Lord of Mithuna and Kanya with Budha(Mercury) in the fifth house or if the Saturn is in the tenth and eleventh house or if the Saturn and Mercury are looking in the house of panchama which is the Santan house, then there is a 100 percent possibility that this couple will not be blessed with any children and eventually will have to go for Adoption.

But as we all know that every action carries an equal and opposite reaction, therefore every problem in the form of negative energy can be overcomed with equally powerful positive energy which can be acheived by accurate performation of the Pooja.

The Significance and the Impact of Stars or Nakshatras on Human life

Most often, some believers asks Astrologers about their fate, the effect of their zodiac signs on their personal, professional and spiritual life. They tend to be curious to know the answer for these questions. They also tend to be satisfied after getting answers to these questions. There are about 6.7 billion people as of 2009 in the world and there are only twelve zodiac signs that exist in the Galaxy where we all live.

Vedic astrology, similar to Western astrology, believes that, each zodiac sign has its own nature and exercises its individual influence on the life of the human, but more than that, a sign happens to rise at the time of the birth of a person and this rising sign is called lagna. If we dig out, it wouldn't be difficult to find out that there could be more than 100 million people who could share the same zodiac sign, so does that mean that each one of these 100 million would experience a similar lifestyle, or would have the equal lifespan as others, or would face the same ups and downs in life? Apparently they wont. On a similar note, every 100 million people can share the same lagna, but even this does not mean that they all will live the same. So, how is that each one of us still have different experiences in life? What factors does really differentiates the lifestyle of one person with another? To answer this question, we need to understand the significance of Nakshatras (27 constellations) on human life. According to Hindu mythology, Moon had married all the 27 daughters of king Dakshan, who are the star constellations in the sky. The concept of Nakshatra is exclusive only to Vedic astrology, and is known to give much more accurate results. Nakshatras are the backbone of astrology and were taken into account even before Sign system was considered.

Nakshatras are considered throughout the astrological analysis. Each Nakshatra is further divided in four sections called Padas or charans. Consideration of charan is also very important during chart analysis as each charan of Nakshatra gives a different result. Each zodiac covers nine charans in total. Hence any zodiac will cover more than two Nakshatras. Therefore, based on about 108 charans, several astrological analysis can be done. After the analysis are done using these charans and nakshatras, we could then look into the kundlis and predict the future and this is how it's being done today. The bottom line is that nakshatra, lagna, tithi, vaar, karan, yog, dasha, antar dasha, pratee antar dasha, sukshma antar dasha, and lagna kundali are all required to perform an accurate astrological analysis.

Fascinating world of Vedic Astrology

I would like to share my knowledge in regards to the fascinating world of Vedic Astrology. To begin with, I would like to start off by raising a basic question regarding people who remain unmarried in their entire life. Apart from several personal reasons, do we really think why people remain unmarried for ever in thier life? To answer this question, I would like to breifly share my thoughts. In my thirty years of experience examining several eminent personalities and dignatories of India, I discovered that when the Venus is in between the moon and sun the men or women will remain unmarried till the fag end of their life . With due respect, I would like to mention the names of few respectful and renowned persons such as Dr. Abdul Kalam (The ex President of India), Latha Mangeshker (The most popular and melodious singer India has ever produced) and Shri Atal Bihari Bajpai (The ex prime minister of India) who all share the same planetary positions also known as the Geocentric (earth-centered) positions of the Sun, Moon, and the Venus.
